There will be no row on Friday morning, except for the pair, which will go out for 20 minutes. We will show up at 5:10am and start de-rigging immediately. Boats to be de-rigged are:
MILLER ((***WITH CSIMA OARS!!)
WOLTER (MUST be de-rigged by seniors and observed by a coach)
PROPELLER CLUB (MUST be de-rigged by seniors and observed by a coach)
JUSTICE (both 2x and 2-)
(THERE WILL ALSO BE ONE OR TWO MORE 4+s TO DE-RIG–TBA)
1. Be VERY careful with strapping boats down. A coach or loading captain must check every strap–if something is left loose, there will be no ability to climb your way underneath to tighten it because the load is HUGE!)
2. When taping up seats, clearly mark those that don’t have names on them. It’s awfully difficult to identify equipment that isn’t labelled.
The coach/Coxie/bow person meeting will be at 6:30AM both Saturday and Sunday. All coaches, coxies and bow people in coxless boats must attend.
–All weight class rowers and all coxswains must weigh in on days you are racing.
–If you are close to your weight limit, please enjoy lots of salad in the next couple of days and lay off the carbs.
–Don’t eat much on the morning of the weigh in–you can eat lots after, especially if your race is later.
–Crews must weigh in as a whole, in your racing uniform…so don’t be late to the weigh in–it is not courteous to any crewmates who may be waiting until after weigh in to have something to eat.
–If you wish to do a “practice” weigh in, you can do so prior to 6am.
–BRING YOUR ID TO THE WEIGH IN!!!!

I will publish the day sheet later today, but you will see that it is LOADED. If we ask you to be somewhere and you’re not there, it will impede the ability of a coach to watch a race…so be on time, don’t be late, and don’t forget your ID.
The first boats that need to be rigged are the Justice (as a pair), the Cherwinski and the Monaco. Rig boats in the order they’re raced according to the daysheet. Know the boats you’re rowing, know your race times and make sure the boat you’re rowing is rigged! The course is a LONG way from the launch area and the coaches won’t be around the trailer much–we’ll be watching your races so we can provide you some feedback.
LAUNCHING AND RETRIEVING
I would like to assign some parents to help at the launch dock with launching and retrieving. This means helping carry oars, gathering shoes and meeting the crew after the race. It will likely be a parent of a rower in that crew. We may be around to help out, but as mentioned, it is a priority to watch races here.
