Please be ready to go for practice. We are planning our sessions for 50-55 minutes, so starting at 7:15 doesn’t work. You should be warmed up and ready to go by 7:05 at the latest.
Any questions for Grimsby, please ask. AND PLEASE BE ON TIME! We will be cracking down on chronic lateness in the next few weeks, because trust me–when it comes time to hit the water, we won’t wait for you. One person being late in the spring will cause up to 4 boats or 16 rowers and the coach to wait around for that one person.
Two days left to get the Ontario’s entries in on RegattaCentral. We’re up to 18, but are expecting 30. Those who haven’t registered yet are below, so please get ’em in!
Last, and CERTAINLY not least, an erg milestone this morning! Alex Bodor went under 7:00 for his 2K! Congratulations—this is a huge pull and bodes really well for the on-water season! No doubt that Alex’ potential crewmates sat up and took notice of this morning’s event and will no doubt be motivated to crack through that barrier themselves. There are at least three gentlemen who are on the verge of achieving this. WE know they are WELL capable of doing it. Do they? Remember–“What the mind believes, the body will deliver.” Your training data supports our belief that you can do it. So go do it.
