Please be aware that this is a very hectic regatta, and boatings may change slightly. Mike and I have a coaches meeting tonight, where we will try to enter on more senior men’s double, and look into a the possibility of more mixed novice quads. We know these boats are not what many of you have practiced, but Mike and I believe wholeheartedly that you can still go out there, race hard, and make us all proud.

As always, if you have questions feel free to reach out over email.

This Week

Some of you may have noticed boatings are different this week than usual. Don’t stress. As we come up to CSSRA boats will change. The best thing you as an athlete can do is get in whatever boat you’re assigned, and do everything you can to make that specific boat faster. That is done with good technique, solid effort, and being a good crewmate. Mike and I need you guys to come to practice with a positive attitude, good listening skills, and a willingness to work hard. We’ve got 9 practices left before CSSRA. Let’s make them the best 9 of the season.

RCA Numbers & Afternoon Practice

Sorry for the double post. Just have a few quick things to mention.

Anyone who does NOT have their RCA number, please email me your RCA username. I’m calling RCA to figure out the issue this afternoon.

For anyone who would like to attend an on water afternoon practice Wednesday or Thursday, please email me your availability. I cannot take everyone out both days, but I will do my best to get anyone who’s interested at least one row.

Lastly, there is practice tomorrow afternoon at the school for novices.

My email is meegan@westdalerowing.com

Tuesday Practice

Sorry for all the posts, this should be my last for today.

Tomorrow morning ONLY seniors are to come down. I will run an erg workout at the school tomorrow afternoon for all novices.

Also a quick note – please make sure you are emailing Mike and I if you are missing practice. It is not enough to just tell your crew mates that you aren’t coming. The coaches need to know ASAP so they can rearrange boatings.
